All you need to do is become a home owner and you have Lost Freedom
If you don't agree with the government then the first thing that they do
is to threaten you with a Fine or Lien on your home.
We are a sad people where most are unwilling to stand up for their rights
Rights that were earned through the bloodshed of others willing to do so,
yet most people are throwing those rights away by allowing government
to swell into an enormous money guzzling Task Master.
As Benjamin Franklin stated
Any society that would give up a Little liberty
to gain a Little Security
will Deserve neither
and Lose both
Today, May 22, 2008 a letter was received from the Town of Longmeadow THREATENING
to initiate a daily Fine with in 72 hours of receiving the letter
for this not removing this unsightly structure
How safe and Well Taken Care OF Longmeadow Resident's
must feel to know that they have such a great town government
there just for them.
Several weeks ago a front page article in the Reminder, a local newspaper, told about
30 years of neglect to Municipal Buildings
but that seems to be OK, neither the Town or it's Leader's
were threatened with a fine.
But oh my Watch Out for the Big Bad Log
which stood vertical for many decades causing no concern
but now laying horizontal,prepared to be harvested as were the rest of the trees
that were cut on March 24, it has become quite an issue.
MOVE IT OR YOU WILL BE FINED
What ever happened to going to court and then if it's decided that the log
is an eye sore, illegal structure, cancer causing, dangerous, unappealing, etc.
then proceed accordingly with a fine if the homeowner has not complied
no instead the Big Bad Town hovers down on somewhat who can not afford to continue
a most resonable defense
But government is more than willing to post defense for someone who has murdered
your neighbor, relative friend
